About Bojani.
Mr. Bojani advises Matt and Zen’s clients on expansion into the United States and on franchising, drawing on his own experience of building and franchising a business there.
Mr. Bojani is the founder of Raining Berries, a Florida-based café brand known for açaí bowls, smoothies, specialty coffee, sandwiches and gelato. Born in Kampala, Uganda, he moved to London as an infant after his family fled political upheaval, and later immigrated to the United States in 2007. Before launching Raining Berries in 2020, he worked in foreign exchange markets in London and built a Kids ‘R’ Kids preschool franchise in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
Drawing on more than 200 years of his family’s coffee farming roots in East Africa, Mr. Bojani opened the first Raining Berries store in Lutz, Florida, and has since grown the brand across Central Florida, with franchising underway in the US and interest from the UK. He also serves as Governor-appointed Chair of the Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties, and sits on the Orlando Health Foundation board.
